These islands represent the epitomes of power and growth for the entire state of Hawaii and are alike as well as distinct in many respects.

Wailuku is one of the large towns in the state of Hawaii and is situated in the Maui County of the state of Hawaii within the United States of America. The area is not only one of the significant islands of Hawaii but also the county seat of the Maui County according to jurisdiction. The island of Wailuku is located to the west of Kahului at the beginning of the valley of Iao.

During the beginning of the 20 th century Wailuku was the center point of all tourist activities of its County however this trend has become different in the past years. With the rapid developments in the tourism and resort industry of the neighboring area of Ka'anapali the popularity of Wailuku had to suffer a swift decline and it no more enjoys the limelight it did in the early 1990s.

Despite of a decrement in the number of visitors the town of Wailuku is as beautiful as it was and the natural ambience as well as the landmarks is still a remarkable site and a delight for the eyes and intellect alike.
